Kenneth “Kenny” Robinson is Vice President of the Strategic Force
Programs Business Unit for the Space, Intelligence, Surveillance and
Reconnaissance Systems Division of the Northrop Grumman Mission
In his role, Mr. Robinson has executive responsibility for operations
and execution all elements of a Business Unit (BU) that provides
innovative Command, Control and mission data exploitation
capabilities for national security and military space customers. He
also provides the strategic guidance to ensure fulfillment of the BU’s
long-term and annual business and financial commitments.
Prior to this role Mr. Robinson was the Director of the National/Military Systems Operating
Unit (OU) where he was responsible for overseeing all cost, schedule and technical
performance aspects of a portfolio of space systems mission control programs for the
Intelligence Community and the United States Air Force.
Mr. Robinson joined Northrop Grumman in 2007 following a distinguished career with the
U. S. Air Force. Prior to his departure from the Air Force, Mr. Robinson spent ten years at
the Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC), Los Angeles Air Force Base where he held
various leadership positions in MILSATCOM, Space Superiority and culminating as the
Commander, Global Positioning System Control Segment Group.
Mr. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the United
States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science degree in Applied Management from
Lesley University. He is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University Advanced
Program Manager’s course and is a certified Acquisition Professional Development Level
III. He is a former co-chair of the Northrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS)
African American Task Group and the NGIS Diversity and Inclusion Council. He is
currently on the Board of Directors for the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the National
Defense Industrial Association.
