Camille Hymes is the regional vice president for Starbucks, leading company operations for the Mid-Atlantic. Her $1 billion portfolio consists of over 600 stores across five states and the Nation’s Capital. She works every day to lead and inspire over 11,000 partners in her region. Camille joined the Starbucks management team in 2014. Her career spans more than 20 years in the oil and convenience industries including 16 years at ExxonMobil and an eight-year tour as Operations VP for Jack In the Box.
As a leader, she takes great pride in motivating and inspiring others to achieve their professional goals and aspirations. She finds mentoring others fulfilling and considers herself to be a servant leader. Camille’s commitment to our nation’s youth extends to nonprofit businesses. She is actively engaged in supporting the City Year Philadelphia and YouthBuild organizations with a purpose to provide opportunities through education, counseling and job skill. She is also involved with The Choice Program at UMBC helping to bridge the opportunity divide supporting our youth and families in at-risk environments. She graduated from Howard University in Washington DC with a B.A. in Business Administration.
Camille is married to John Sr. and they have three children – Johnny, Lexi Joi and Jade. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, road biking, hiking and practicing yoga.
